Finding Kind Global Clinic in Myeongdong

From Exit 6 of Myeongdong Station on Seoul Subway Line 4, Kind Global Clinic is a 5-minute walk. Leave the station at that exit, continue onto Myeongdong-gil, and look for the UNESCO Building at number 26. Take the elevator to the sixth floor; the clinic occupies rooms 603, 604 and 605 and the entrance is directly ahead of the elevator. The building is a registered piece of Korean architectural heritage and is easy to identify once you are on the street.

Two stations are equally close, both a 5-minute walk: Myeongdong Station on Seoul Subway Line 4, using Exit 6, and Euljiro 1-ga Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, using Exit 6. The two lines give you a choice of routes, depending on where you are staying. Use whichever line your hotel sits on rather than defaulting to the Myeongdong name.

The clinic’s address is Rooms 603–605, 6F UNESCO Building, 26 Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul 04536, South Korea. In Korean, which is what you should show a taxi driver, it is 서울특별시 중구 명동길 26 유네스코회관 6층 603·604·605호. The English address on its own is often not enough for a Korean driver. Kind Global Clinic is open seven days a week, including Sundays and Korean public holidays, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends and on holidays, and from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Monday to Friday. Weekend opening is worth planning around on a short trip: it means a treatment does not have to consume one of your weekdays, and the longer weekday hours make a late-afternoon appointment possible after a day out.

Kind Global Clinic does not publish parking arrangements for the UNESCO Building, so nothing is claimed here about it — ask the clinic directly if you intend to drive. In practice driving into Myeongdong is a poor plan regardless: it is one of the densest pedestrian districts in Seoul, on-street parking is effectively nonexistent, and two subway lines put the clinic five minutes from a station. Take the subway, or a taxi to a drop-off nearby.

Message as soon as you know, and the appointment can usually be moved rather than lost. The clinic runs on booked slots, so a late arrival compresses your own consultation rather than anyone else’s, and a treatment needing 90 minutes may not fit what is left. Nothing is charged for changing or canceling an appointment, because nothing is paid in advance.

Myeongdong has several pharmacies within a few minutes’ walk of the UNESCO Building, and the clinic will point you to the nearest one if you leave with a prescription. Most treatments described on this site need nothing beyond sunscreen and a gentle moisturizer, both of which you can buy anywhere in the district. If you take regular medication, bring enough for your stay rather than planning to replace it here — Korean pharmacies may not stock the same brands.

The clinic is on the sixth floor of the UNESCO Building, in rooms 603, 604 and 605, and an elevator runs to it from the ground-floor lobby. The clinic entrance is directly ahead when you leave the elevator, separated from the waiting area so that arriving does not put you in the middle of other patients.
