What we treat in Myeongdong, and what each treatment is for
seven groups of non-surgical dermatology, each with what it answers, who it is not for and what the day after looks like.
Quick answer
Kind Global Clinic Myeongdong offers non-surgical dermatology in seven groups: focused ultrasound lifting, radiofrequency lifting, contour and body line, skin boosters, pores, acne and skincare, botulinum toxin, single-visit packages. Each group below states the mechanism, who it is not suitable for, and the recovery. Prices for all 69 itemized treatments sit in one table on the price page, with 10% VAT already added.

Focused ultrasound lifting
Focused ultrasound answers a jawline that has lost its edge and cheeks that have started to drop. It does not replace lost volume.
Shurink Universe first visit
The same HIFU platform as Shurink, which the clinic lists separately as a first-visit item.
KRW 97,900 ≈ $73 · VAT included
Focused ultrasound liftingUltherapy Prime
Focused ultrasound at set depths, with the tissue layer visible to the operator before energy is delivered.
From KRW 495,000 ≈ $370 · VAT included
Focused ultrasound liftingShurink
The same focused-ultrasound mechanism without the imaging, at a fraction of the cost per session.
From KRW 108,900 ≈ $81 · VAT included
- How it works
- Acoustic energy is concentrated at a fixed depth below the surface, heating that point enough to contract collagen while leaving the surface intact.
- Not suitable
- Deferred in pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is the wrong treatment for volume loss, or for laxity that has passed what a non-surgical treatment can reach. Disclose all implants before booking; the physician must check the contraindications for the specific device.
- Afterward
- Expect redness and surface warmth on the day, and tenderness on the jawline for two or three days.

Radiofrequency lifting
Radiofrequency answers diffuse looseness and a general slackening of the face rather than one lost contour line.
Thermage
Solta Medical hardware, and the only imported platform in this group.
From KRW 1,089,000 ≈ $815 · VAT included
Radiofrequency liftingOligio X
Monopolar radiofrequency from Wontech, and the least expensive of the three RF platforms here.
From KRW 482,900 ≈ $361 · VAT included
Radiofrequency liftingDensity
Radiofrequency for elasticity, run in Classic or Alpha configurations on face or body.
From KRW 759,000 ≈ $568 · VAT included
- How it works
- Current passes through the dermis and heats it in bulk through a cooled surface, so the heating is spread rather than pinpointed.
- Not suitable
- Not used in pregnancy. Monopolar radiofrequency is ruled out entirely by an implanted pacemaker, defibrillator or other electronic device. Metal in the treatment field rules it out too.
- Afterward
- Expect redness and a flushed, warm feeling on the day, usually settled by the next morning. Ask the treating physician when you can resume makeup.
Thermage has its own page, and which of the two answers your complaint is set out separately. 9 itemized prices for this group →

Contour and body line
Contour treatments work on the body line and the lower face — the areas where the complaint is shape rather than skin quality.
Body Onda first visit
Onda applied to the body rather than the face, listed separately as a first-visit item.
KRW 429,000 ≈ $321 · VAT included
Contour and body lineOnda
Microwave energy for contour and body-line care, on a target area chosen after examination.
From KRW 141,900 ≈ $106 · VAT included
Contour and body lineEve Titan
Contour and body-line device run in Titan and Patch modes.
From KRW 163,900 ≈ $123 · VAT included
- How it works
- The device delivers energy over a defined area instead of across the whole face, so what it treats is a shape rather than a surface. The area is chosen after the physician has examined it.
- Not suitable
- Deferred in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Neither is a weight-loss treatment. The target is one localized area, chosen after the physician has examined it.
- Afterward
- Expect warmth and mild tenderness in the treated area rather than visible redness.
The options include three-session courses and a year of monthly sessions. The price page lists both single-session and course prices. 14 itemized prices for this group →

Skin boosters
Skin boosters focus on texture, pore appearance and fine crepiness — skin-quality concerns rather than facial lifting.
KIND Premium Rejuran first visit
Rejuran Healer 2 cc with added hyaluronic acid, a numbing agent and a fine low-pain needle.
KRW 218,900 ≈ $164 · VAT included
Skin boostersRejuran
Salmon-derived polynucleotide placed in the dermis for texture, pore appearance and fine crepiness.
From KRW 130,900 ≈ $98 · VAT included
Skin boostersCollagen Stimulator
Injected into the dermis to work over a longer horizon than polynucleotide, rather than placed for volume.
From KRW 97,900 ≈ $73 · VAT included
- How it works
- An agent is placed into the dermis by needle, either by hand or through a multi-needle injector. Two families sit here: polynucleotide, sold as Rejuran, and the collagen stimulators.
- Not suitable
- Rejuran is salmon-derived, so a fish or salmon allergy has to be disclosed before it is injected. That warning does not extend to the collagen stimulators, which are different products. Deferred in pregnancy and where there is active inflammatory acne at the site. Anticoagulant therapy needs review first.
- Afterward
- Small raised bumps at every injection point for one to three days. That is the reason to book this early in a stay rather than the morning you fly.
Rejuran and the boosters are set out in full on their own page. 13 itemized prices for this group →

Pores, acne and skincare
This is the clinic’s pore, acne and skincare category: treatments aimed at surface condition rather than at tension or shape.
DermaShine Pro delivery
Billed for the injector alone, with whichever booster is placed through it charged separately.
KRW 53,900 ≈ $40 · VAT included
Pores, acne and skincarePotenza
Needles carry the radiofrequency below the surface, so the energy starts at depth rather than passing through the skin.
From KRW 152,900 ≈ $114 · VAT included
Pores, acne and skincareAquapeel
Cleansing and extraction rather than energy or injection, and the least demanding thing on this page.
KRW 53,900 ≈ $40 · VAT included
- How it works
- Three different routes to the same complaint: radiofrequency carried below the surface on needles, assisted delivery of a liquid preparation into the dermis, and cleansing and extraction at the surface. A physician chooses between them after examining your skin. It is not a menu choice.
- Not suitable
- Deferred where there is active inflammatory acne or an open lesion at the treatment site, and in pregnancy. Anticoagulant therapy needs review first for anything that breaks the skin.
- Afterward
- Expect redness for a few hours after a peel, and one to three days of redness and mild swelling after microneedle radiofrequency.
Two of these are billed for the delivery only, with the booster charged separately. The price page identifies those items. 4 itemized prices for this group →

Botulinum toxin
Botulinum toxin answers lines that appear when you move: forehead, frown and crow’s feet. In the jaw it answers something different, a masseter muscle that widens the lower face.
Expression-line toxin
The upper face: forehead, frown lines and the outer corners of the eyes.
From KRW 20,900 ≈ $16 · VAT included
Botulinum toxinMasseter toxin
Injected into the masseter, where the complaint is a wide lower face rather than a line.
From KRW 42,900 ≈ $32 · VAT included
Botulinum toxinMicrotoxin
Placed shallowly across the full face rather than into a single muscle group.
From KRW 141,900 ≈ $106 · VAT included
- How it works
- It temporarily reduces the contraction of the muscle it is injected into. A line that is there when your face is still will not respond.
- Not suitable
- Not given in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where there is a neuromuscular disorder. The injecting physician needs to know about any recent toxin treatment elsewhere.
- Afterward
- No real downtime beyond pinpoint marks and occasional small bruises.
- Timing
- The effect appears over three to seven days and wears off over three to six months.
Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine. Korean law restricts naming prescription products in public advertising, so the four stocked tiers are shown by tier. The doctor names the specific product during your consultation, before you agree to anything.

Single-visit packages
The packages combine several of the treatments above into one sitting, which is the shape most international visits take — one substantive appointment rather than three spread across a trip. The price page lists what each package contains, so you can compare its components with their individual prices.
One-Day Package
The smaller of the two combination tiers, built around pores, lifting or glow. Each row lists what it contains.
From KRW 660,000 ≈ $494 · VAT included
Single-visit packagesVIP Package
The largest single-visit combinations, built on 600-shot lifting plus injectables. Each row lists what it contains.
From KRW 5,500,000 ≈ $4,116 · VAT included
- Not suitable
- Suitability is decided per component, so ask what happens to the price if one part is ruled out for you.
- Afterward
- Allow 60 to 120 minutes, and expect the downtime of whichever component has the most — usually the injectable.
Questions
What people ask before choosing
What each treatment answers, and who it is not for.
What is the lowest-priced worthwhile treatment at this clinic?
The lowest first-visit price at Kind Global Clinic Myeongdong is KRW 97,900 including VAT, for a 300-shot Shurink Universe HIFU treatment. That is genuinely the rational entry point rather than a loss leader, because it tells you how your skin responds to focused ultrasound before you spend more. Aquapeel and a single-session DermaShine delivery sit lower still but do less. The lowest-priced treatment that is right for your complaint beats the lowest-priced treatment on the list, and a physician should be willing to tell you when the answer is neither.
Are the first-visit prices a genuine discount or a bait price?
The first-visit prices are genuinely lower and genuinely apply once, and they are the clinic’s standard customer-acquisition pricing rather than something negotiated for foreign patients. The caveat is what happens next: a treatment you liked costs the standard price on a second visit, so budget against the standard column rather than the first-visit column if you expect to come back. Nothing here is contingent on how you book. Both columns are in the price table.
Which treatments are ruled out if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Every energy-based and injectable treatment on this page is deferred in pregnancy and breastfeeding: focused ultrasound, radiofrequency, contouring, skin boosters, microneedle radiofrequency and botulinum toxin. That is not a claim of known harm but the absence of safety data, which is the reason to wait rather than to weigh a risk. Tell the clinic before anything is planned rather than at the appointment, because it changes what is worth booking a trip for.
Can I have a treatment if I have a pacemaker or a metal implant?
Thermage and Ultherapy manufacturer instructions list active electronic implants, such as pacemakers and defibrillators, as contraindications. Do not assume focused ultrasound is suitable because an implant is away from the treatment area. Disclose all implants, including metal implants and dental hardware, before booking; the physician needs to assess their location and the contraindications of the specific device.
Which treatments leave marks that would show in photographs?
Skin boosters leave small raised bumps at every injection point for one to three days, which is the most visible aftermath of anything on this page. Botulinum toxin leaves pinpoint marks and occasional small bruises. Focused ultrasound and radiofrequency leave redness and warmth that usually settle within hours to a day. If you have an event or a flight, book the injectables early in the stay rather than the morning you leave.
How many of these treatments can be combined in one visit?
Combining treatments in one sitting is normal at Kind Global Clinic, and the single-visit packages are built around it: ultrasound lifting with radiofrequency, or either with an injectable, in one 60 to 120 minute appointment. How many you can take in one visit depends on which areas they cover and how much heat they put into the same tissue, so a physician settles it once the skin has been examined. Stacking two heat-based treatments on consecutive days is a different matter and generally a bad idea, because the skin needs the time between to respond.
Why are the botulinum toxin products shown as tiers rather than brands?
Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine, and Korean law restricts naming prescription products in advertising directed at the public. The four stocked tiers therefore appear as tiers, and the doctor names the specific product during your consultation, before you agree to anything. The prices differ by tier and all four are published, so nothing about the cost is hidden by the naming.
Does Kind Global Clinic perform surgery?
Kind Global Clinic performs no surgery of any kind. Everything on this page is non-surgical: focused ultrasound and radiofrequency lifting, contouring, laser work, injectable skin boosters and botulinum toxin. If a concern needs a surgical answer, that is a different specialty and a different clinic, and you will be told so rather than sold the nearest non-surgical substitute.
